With Samsung having already held an unpacked event in July 2024, all eyes are now set on 2025. Yes, it may seem a bit far off from a neutral spectator’s perspective, but if you are a fan of Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S series, then your eyes would be itching to get the first look, and your hands would be eager to have the first feel of the next in line, Samsung Galaxy S25.
With Galaxy S24 coming out with mixed reviews, the South Korean tech giant would like to put all controversies around its cons to bed. While there were people who actually loved its good, vibrant display, useful AI features, and compact and lightweight design with the advanced camera setup, there was still a good section of people dissatisfied when it came to the absence of a charger with the handset and also when it to the battery. Although the issues related to slow charging and better battery life weren’t reported much by S24 Ultra users, most were happy to pay an exorbitantly high price.

Galaxy S24 was announced by Samsung at the Galaxy Unpacked event on Wednesday, 17th January 2024, in San Jose, California. That is how it has been for the South Korean multinational, with all its announcements being made on a Wednesday in early Q1 each year. Whether Galaxy S24, Galaxy S23 or Galaxy S22, Wednesday has been the chosen day to unveil each successor in this flagship series.
When can I have the Galaxy S25 in my hands?
The same pattern is likely to continue for the time being, with Samsung expected to host another unpacked event either on 22nd January 2025 or 29th January 2025 to unveil its next Galaxy S series smartphones. It is then expected to be subsequently released to the public by 1st week of February 2025. If all the latest reports of top analysts and leaked rumors are to be believed, then Samsung Galaxy S25 will be released on 5th February 2025 or 12th February 2025. Samsung is even expected to announce its Galaxy S25 Plus and Galaxy S25 Ultra versions on the same day.
When will the Galaxy S25 pre-orders begin in the US?
Although the Samsung Galaxy S25 series is expected to be released in the second week of February 2025, the pre-orders will start soon after the launch of the S25 series.
While there is nothing official yet from Samsung itself, all the top analysts and geeks are already speculating not a major load of changes but significant ones in camera and battery.
