Samsung is planning major upgrades for the S25 Ultra and more features for the entire S25 Lineup

When it comes to great Android phones, Samsung has its best offering with the Galaxy S lineup. Generations of Galaxy S flagship phones stand out with the best feature set and hardware to entice consumers.

The much-awaited Galaxy S25 lineup is months away from an announcement, but we have a lot of rumors that paint the picture of this year’s model. Apple is expected to announce the new iPhone 16 models during the September event this year. This means Samsung will have to catch up to compete.

True to the craftsmanship, Samsung as per rumor is taking time to perfect the S25 models. Part of the rumor states that one important feature found on the recent iPhone 14, and 15 models will make its way to the S25 lineup, and satellite calls. The features allow phones with limited or no connectivity to send and receive messages/calls by connecting with an orbiting satellite.

The other rumor, making rounds these days is two mobile parts going through the Indian Bureau of Indian Standards. Two part numbers that went through the regulation are EB-BS938ABE and EB-BS938ABY. While details are short on this one, we can presume that it will be mostly related to the Galaxy S25 Ultra battery.

Since Samsung has used multiple suppliers for the battery component, this could be a positive sign of getting an updated battery of higher capacity on the S25 Ultra.

Samsung killed the Note lineup for the Ultra models, offering a premium setup for consumers. This year, Samsung plans to upgrade the game with an even more upgraded Ultra model. While the camera is getting an update, the design of the S25 Ultra will see major changes this year.

The rectangular slab-like structure never was ergonomic to begin with. That is going to change this year, with a more asymmetrical design between the back and front. The back will be more rounded offering a better feel in the hand. The update also gives the S25 Ultra an impression of narrow bezels compared to the other S25 lineup.
