3 reasons to skip the Galaxy S25 for the Galaxy S26

With the Galaxy S24 already released in January 2024 and Samsung already having held an unpacked event in July this year, all eyes are now on the next Galaxy Unpacked Event, which is expected to be hosted in California again by the end of January next year.

While many are thrilled to hear the leaks and rumors coming from top analysts and blogs around the web, a few out there are not excited to the same extent. Will the successor of the Samsung Galaxy S24 be dead? Will it bring in any major upgrades or changes to make the investment worth it?

While many are speculating new updates and features to be introduced in the next flagship Galaxy series smartphone, some sources are still skeptical about any major changes to be unveiled in the Samsung Galaxy S25.

That is the very reason why there is still a small proportion of fans who do not find the Galaxy S25 worth investing in. While studying and analyzing all the different leaks and rumors, we found below why Galaxy S25 might remain an overhyped wait :-

1) Design: While many rumors across the internet are creating ruckus around significant design changes in the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25, the Korean multinational is most likely to stick with a similar screen size, if not the display. The body will likely give the same touch and feel as the Galaxy S24.

2) Colors: A small change is expected here, too, with Samsung likely to remove a few color variants after they fail to make an impression. The South Korean tech giant will likely stick with the same combinations this time. If anything, it might just update the shade intensity.

3) Battery: With many having complained about slow charging and a weak battery (relative to previous versions) in Galaxy S24, Samsung would be keen to make significant improvements in this area, but it may remain a challenging task to provide a battery so powerful that could match and energy of their new updates and apps without giving any overheating issues.

Many speculate that there will be no marked changes in AI features and camera specifications in the upcoming Galaxy S25, and hence, as per many, waiting for the Samsung Galaxy S26 or the later version might be worth the wait.

While all these could merely be speculations despite the reports from top sources and analysts, the wait continues until nothing is made official from the Korean giant Samsung.
